Outspoken protector of the citizens

On March 25, the Daily Herald published a letter to the editor attacking the paper's endorsements, including Doug Warlick for 5th Ward Alderman of the Geneva City Council.

I am supporting Doug because he has dedicated his life to giving back to families in need, and he has a proven record of caring for the people of Geneva and beyond through his arduous work on behalf of the Geneva Lions Club.

The writer of the letter does not like Doug's temperament. I love the fact that Doug does not talk around the truth. He is direct and bold in his opinions. He is proud of his community and has given great thought to the issues that the city faces; he has also discussed and debated them with numerous people to evaluate and develop the best solutions. I am voting for Doug Warlick because he is not a soft-spoken politician. He is an outspoken protector of our citizens and he will be a strong advocate for the 5th Ward.
