State Sen. Tom Rooney to host meet-and-greet in Palatine

New state Sen. Tom Rooney will talk to constituents at 10 a.m. Friday during a meet-and-greet at the Palatine Senior Center, 505 S. Quentin Road.

Rooney, who was previously Rolling Meadows mayor, was appointed in September to fill the 27th District Senate seat left open by the resignation of Matt Murphy.

Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and share their suggestions about state government. The free event includes refreshments.
