Think of the people, not the party, on health care
Because the disastrous Trumpcare health plan was pulled before it could be voted on due to lack of support, I would like to offer a suggestion for House Speaker Paul Ryan.
Instead of attempting to repeal the ACA ("Obamacare") for the 55th time, how about working with the Democrats to come up with changes to it that will be beneficial to everyday citizens instead of to the insurance companies who donated $657,649 to your campaign last year?
Ignore the Republican ultraconservative Freedom Caucus members who were giddy with excitement at the prospect of throwing 24 million people off health care, and repair - not replace - the ACA.
Think of the people, not your party. The American people deserve nothing less.
