Sewer work to close State Street in North Aurora next week

State Street in North Aurora will be closed to through traffic from routes 25 to 31 the week of April 3 for a sewer construction project.
Construction equipment will be parked on State at Grant Street.
Traffic to houses and businesses will be allowed. Other drivers will be detoured to the Sullivan Road bridge in Aurora.
The Fox Metro sanitary sewer district will reline about 1,450 feet of a 15-inch sanitary sewer pipe, plus service lines and manholes, in the rear yards of houses on Grant Street between State and the ComEd right of way.
It expects to finish the job by April 7, weather-permitting.
