Des Plaines firefighters hosting free CPR classes

The Des Plaines Fire Department is offering a free "Friends and Family CPR" classes to residents.

This class will provide residents with the basic knowledge of CPR and AED techniques. The class offers no certifications or documentation for attending.

The classes are at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 15, and 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, at Fire Station 1, 405 S. River Road.

A $20 deposit is required at the time of registration to secure a spot, and the deposit will be refunded at the time of the class.
