Barrington mayor gets things done

Having lived in Barrington for over 20 years, it is wonderful to see our downtown thriving.

There has been much discussion around developing Barrington's downtown over the years. Now, under Karen Darch's leadership, it's finally getting done. That's why I'm supporting Karen Darchfor re-election.

I value "walkability" in my community and with all the improvements in our downtown, Barrington is better than ever. With more restaurants and businesses, Barrington is energized. Add to that the wonderful events that are happening year-round, and there's more vitality in our village than ever before.

This is the small-town feel that I love about Barrington. Our downtown buzzing, our neighborhoods friendly, and our schools preparing our kids to be lifelong learners.

All this doesn't happen by accident. It takes leadership, diligence, and a steady hand at the helm. It also takes time, which is why I'm so grateful that Karen Darch has remained dedicated to serving us.

There is more work to do, but there's no one I trust more to lead us than Karen Darch.
