Comments incomplete

During an interview regarding the race for College of Lake County board, I was asked, "There's been rumblings about the college president. What's your opinion of Dr. Weber?" My response, in two parts addressing "rumblings," wasn't accurately communicated in the Daily Herald's endorsement editorial regarding the race. I said President Weber has, " … done a nice job reaching out to the public and moving forward with some pretty comprehensive projects." The second part regarding micromanaging referred to a board member. President Weber is a committed professional who works hard under difficult circumstances.
