Bullying Effects Everyone

Staley, the Chicago Bears mascot, made a wonderful impression when he performed for the students at Saint Alphonsus Liguori School in Prospect Heights.

"You see, Staley doesn't talk but his "friend", Gabby, did the talking for him through his hand motions and demonstrated how bullying takes place is so many forms, said Marketing Director Betty Cloud. "It was amazing how the kids related to what they were saying",

Staley demonstrated that bullying takes on so many different ways and the smartest way is to "Stop and Walk", "Stick up for What's Right", "Include Don't Exclude", "Adults Can Help" and "RESPECT".

"In was a wonderful assembly for the kids in preschool through eighth grade" said Principal Linda Chorazy. These are reminders that everyone needs to remember as bullies are all around us and we need to know how to turn the other cheek. "I hope that all of our students each came away with a little more knowledge."
