District 62 aligns next year's spring break with District 207

Des Plaines Elementary District 62 has changed the week of spring break for the 2017-2018 school year to align with Maine Township High School District 207.

The school board approved changing spring break next year to March 26-30. Because Good Friday will be during spring break, Easter will be observed April 2, 2018.

Iroquois Community School will start one day earlier on July 11 in order to have the adequate number of school days. The second quarter date was adjusted from Dec. 22 to Jan. 12 to balance the number of days in the four quarters.
