Candidate forum in Mundelein

Candidates for seats on Mundelein's village board will face the public at a forum Monday, March 20, at Mundelein High School, 1350 W. Hawley St. The event, which is set to begin at 7 p.m., will be hosted by students in Advanced Placement American government and politics classes. Six people are running for three seats: incumbents Ray Semple and Dawn Abernathy; former Trustee Robin Meier; planning and zoning commissioner Scott Black; and political newcomers Karthik Chandramouli and Jeanne Cygnus.
