Disney veteran speaks to Naperville chamber

The former head of training at Disney University, Doug Lipp, will be the keynote speaker next month when the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce presents its third annual Speaker Series.

Lipp, who is also an author and international consultant, will speak at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, April 27, at the Community Christian Church Yellow Box at 1635 Emerson Lane.

Lipp is on a crusade to help organizations strengthen their corporate culture, boost performance, amplify employee morale, and have fun while doing it. He was only 29 when he was fast-tracked into management at Disney and became instrumental at propelling its iconic culture forward.

During his program, Lipp will explain how Disney continues to capture and inspire the hearts and minds of thousands of employees around the globe through an unwavering devotion to the core values established by Walt himself.

The presentation will be followed by a book signing from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. and a workshop with Lipp from 10:30 a.m. to noon, where VIPs can take a deeper look at the makeup of their own company culture.

To register, call the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce at (630) 355-4141 or visit www.naperville.net.
