Endorsements: Burton, Duckmann, Inzerello and Poskozim for Des Plaines Elementary Dist. 62

Des Plaines Elementary School District 62 has a high number of low-income and English-as-a-second-language students, According the Daily Herald's Poverty-Achievement Index, the schools in the district largely meet the challenge of serving their students successfully. It's a well-run district that also benefits from a strong economic base. Given this, incumbents Ronald Burton, Stephanie Duckmann, Brian Inzerello and James Poskozim are endorsed for the four open seats on the school board. Newcomer Daniel Bachar has lifelong ties to the community and experience in education. Fortunately for him, there are no candidates for an open 2-year term seat that the board will need to fill after the election. Bachar would be a very good choice.
