Candidate responds, follows up on complaints

When neighborhood problems such as people lying down curbside and not responding coherently, liquor bottles thrown onto lawns, items stolen from garages, air conditioning units stolen, loud threatening language, gun shots heard and cars stolen out of driveways, we call 911 as well as Councilman Terry Gavin.

Terry responds quickly that he received our message, and has already inquired about our concerns. He follows up by either calling, returning messages, or personally visiting our home. What really separates Terry from others is following through by checking back with us until resolution of the problem.

Terry is also a champion for insuring our tax dollars are wisely spent, without eroding services that would negate the safety of all of our citizens, yet expanding our economic base for Elgin. Most of all, we appreciate how concerned Terry is on keeping our neighborhoods safe. One way to thank Terry is to cast a vote for him this spring, in our Elgin City Council election.
