Mundelein offering citizens fire academy

The Mundelein Fire Department will host a nine-week citizens fire academy class this spring, offering participants a chance to learn about firefighter training and get experience with hoses, fire extinguishers and other gear.

Classes are Monday nights, starting March 27, at the main fire station, 1000 N. Midlothian Road.
