Local McDonald's hosts Coffee with a Cop
On Saturday, March 11, at the McDonald's in Arlington Heights, officers from the Arlington Heights Police Department and community members came together in an informal, neutral space to discuss community issues and build relationships.
Coffee with a Cop provided a unique opportunity for community members to ask questions and learn more about the department's work in Arlington Heights neighborhoods.
All ages visited with the officers. The children especially enjoyed collecting officer trading cards and police badge stickers.
A special thank you goes to Officer Brandi Romag, who coordinated the Coffee with a Cop meet-and-greet event. Thank you to Sargent Doug Hajek, who enjoyed greeting community members at the drive-through window. Thank you to all the other officers that came and served coffee and mingled with the community.
