Building a sustainable house topic of Green Drinks program

"Green is the New Grey: The Ins & Outs of Building a Sustainable House" is the topic of the next Green Drinks program at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, at O'Toole's Libertyville, 412 N. Milwaukee Ave. The presentation takes viewers through the process of designing and building a house that combines sustainability and aging in place. The Wildwood house recently was awarded a LEED Gold Certification and is Lake County's first passive solar, accessible house. There will be a house tour at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 18.
