Fremont students Jump Rope For Heart

Fremont Intermediate School's 735 students in grades 3-5 collectively raised close to $30,000 for the American Heart Association in its annual Jump Rope For Heart fundraiser.

Fourth-grader Riley Demko raised the most funds with $1,125 collected, followed by third-graders Robert Lenzini and Bradley Parmley, each with $1,100.

Jump Rope For Heart is a national fundraising event sponsored by the American Heart Association and the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance.

These events engage students with jumping rope while empowering them to improve their own health and help other students with heart-health issues.
