Is there a particular issue that motivates you, and if so, what is it?To upgrade and improve the buildings and parks of addison park district that has had little or no improvements to some of its facilities (the ones used the most) for quite some time. To rebuild and mend many relationships with various local organizations that have been strained over the past few years. Adding and improving programs for children and seniors. Decrease tax-payer debtHow do you assess the state of the district's finances? What, if any, changes do you propose to alter the district's financial picture, whether through cost reduction or revenue increases? Please be as specific as possible on where you would propose cutting or how you would propose increasing revenue.I really can't answer that question properly, I am currently gathering more information that involves the park district finances. What programs aren't paying for themselves? Would you keep, eliminate or change them? How and why?I really can't answer that question properly, I am currently gathering more information that involves the park district programs. Are there any unmet recreational needs? If yes, what are they and how would you propose paying for them?Yes, this is the last year that the Addison Park District has a pool. I believe the Park District Board will have to work closely with other government bodies in the Village, County and State to ensure we are well equipped to tackle the construction of a new aquatic center that would meet the needs of our residents and residents in the surrounding areas. Also, many of the playing fields are in need of being updated to standards that are expected by the citizens of Addison. If you are a newcomer, what prompted you to run for the park board? If you're an incumbent, list your accomplishments or key initiatives in which you played a leadership role. What prompted me to run for the park district are few issues. Being involved with my daughters sports, I go to other towns in the area and see how their park district facilities are. I always wonder why can't are fields/pool be like this. When I talk to residents they all want nicer parks, they want to be proud of their parks. When other towns come to play they should walk away saying to themselves, Addison has nice parks, it must be a nice place to live. What other issues, if any, are important to you as a candidate for this office?Transparency. I big believer in open communication to resolve differences and issues. You can disagree but if you are transparent the discussions are easier. Please name one current leader who most inspires you.Marco Rubio, US SenatorWhat is the biggest lesson you learned at home growing up?Don't waste a single day wishing you had more...Be grateful for what you do have.If life gave you one do-over, what would you spend it on?Learning how to take advantage of all tools of technology. What was your favorite subject in school and how did it help you in later life?Mathematics, I use it everyday for my personal and business life.If you could give your children only one piece of advice, what would it be?Seize the opportunities that you will have with no fear.
