I am for bringing in more family orientated businesses, affordable after school programs, and making Antioch a place that everyone will proud to call home. My plans are to freeze tax raises and fees, as written in my citizens' pledge with two other candidates. I am very open, honest, not afraid to speak to my mind, and fight for what is just, that is what truly makes me different than the rest. I sat on the sidelines long enough and it is now time for me to help and stand up for the Citizens of Antioch.What is your opinion of your community's present level of local sales and property taxes? Is the tax just right, too low or too high? Explain.Taxes are too high because of government overspending. I feel that the county along with the village needs to streamline the budget to make it more effective.Sales tax is perfect. We are the lowest in the surrounding areas which can be used as a part of an incentive package to draw businesses to Antioch.Rate the efficiency of your town's police and fire coverage. Are the departments well prepared for the next decade? What, if anything, should be changed? Do you have specific public safety concerns?We are running efficiently, but there is always room for improvement, just like in any department.Where, if anywhere, could the current budget be trimmed, and conversely, are there areas the budget does not give enough money to?This is a question that I can not answer until we perform an audit of the actual numbers in the village's budget.What is one good idea you have to better the community that no one is talking about yet?Bring more better services in to help service young families and seniors.What other issues, if any, are important to you as a candidate for this office?Transparency and accountability is very relevant to running a good government. I feel that this is what is missing from the current administration.Please name one current leader who most inspires you.President ReaganWhat is the biggest lesson you learned at home growing up?The best lesson I learned at home was family values.If life gave you one do-over, what would you spend it on?I am sorry, but I can not answer this question. I am very content in my family setting and would not change a thing.What was your favorite subject in school and how did it help you in later life?Constitutional Law was my favorite.If you could give your children only one piece of advice, what would it be?If you have to think about something twice, don't do it.
