Dakota Evans Restoration, Inc., a masonry restoration company based in Palatine, Illinois recently welcomed Sean McCrimmon as a sales representative.

McCrimmon holds a Bachelor's degree in International Studies, and a Master of Science in Occupational, Environmental, Safety & Health from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Additionally, the 29-year-old brings more than 10 years of experience working as a skilled laborer handling all of the services provided by the Dakota Evans, which include brick laying, tuck pointing, masonry repair, balcony and concrete repair, in addition to working with specialty coatings.

"I'm thrilled for the opportunity to join the Dakota Evans team. My previous experiences working in the field, and Occupational Safety background will enable me to uphold the superior quality and service that our customers have come to know, and expect," McCrimmon said.

Dakota Evans was founded by Sean's father, Chuck McCrimmon, in 1997 when Sean was just 10-years old. Chuck says Sean's experiences working in the trades and his extensive knowledge of safety issues are the reasons he earned the position.

"Experience and safety are absolutely critical to the work that we handle for apartment and condominium complexes, commercial buildings, universities, museums and hospitals throughout Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Minnesota," Chuck McCrimmon said.

In addition to representing the company through direct contact with clients and their projects, Sean McCrimmon also is a regular columnist for Focus, a publication sponsored by the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA). He writes about safety and other construction-related issues to provide educational resources for multifamily building owners and managers.
