Schaumburg 9, Rolling Meadows 6: The Saxons got 3 goals from Hannah Pearson and 2 apiece from Ingrid Hay and Brianna Vasquez to earn an MSL crossover victory.

Mundelein 16, Palatine 4: The Pirates fell short in their home opener but got goals from Ashley Helminski, Kaley Mockus, Emily Miehlke and Natalie Koval as Meghan Davis (5 saves) and Claire Davis (4) shared time in goal.

Abby Lukas led Mundelein with 9 goals.

Maine West 21, Warren 1: Sophomore Anastasiya Sahayda had 5 goals and senior Kristen Burger had 4 as the Warriors rolled in nonconference play.
