Public Works Team takes first in Trivia Event
On Sunday, Feb. 12, the Arlington Heights Historical Society and Arlington Heights Crime Stoppers held their fourth annual Team Trivia Event.
Members from both organizations, sponsors and supporters gathered at the Arlington Lakes Golf Course in Arlington Heights to "Pop Back in Time" and raise funds for both organizations.
As a tribute to the Historical Society's 60th anniversary this year, the questions included trivia from the last 60 years of American pop culture.
Trophies went to the first-place team from the Village of Arlington Heights Public Works Department.
The Arlington Heights Historical Society and Arlington Heights Crime Stoppers are both 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. Proceeds benefited both organizations equally.
The Arlington Heights Historical Society is dedicated to collecting, preserving and celebrating the historical heritage of Arlington Heights.
The Arlington Heights Historical Society is a volunteer, member-funded organization that is a partner of the Arlington Heights Historical Museum, 110 N Fremont St. More information can be found at www.ahmuseum.org.
