Arlington Heights Native Publishes Short Story Collection
Birmingham, Alabama March 4, 2017- Susan Marie Shuman (nee Mazur), a freelance writer and editor currently living in the Birmingham, AL area has published her first book. "Gutter Ball: A Collection of Short Stories" is a 57-piece compilation of Ms. Shuman's best and most popular (to date) stories. The book is available in both paperback and Kindle versions, from Amazon.com and the CreateSpace e-Store.

Born in Arlington Heights in 1959 to the late Bruno J. and Vivian D. Mazur, Susan has been writing professionally since 2010. She's edited several books by best-selling authors such as Lavie Margolin, Micky Livingston, Marc Rivera and most recently, Rabbi Stephen Lewis Fuchs. While Susan Shuman has lived many places since leaving the state of Illinois, she visits Arlington Heights often.
