Number 12 seed Cary-Grove put an end to the boys basketball season for Round Lake with a 66-40 victory over the Panthers in Class 4A regional action at Lake Zurich.
In the other play-in game at LZ, No. 14 seed Wheeling topped No. 20 seed Dundee-Crown 60-36.
Warren 75, Mundelein 55: Warren cruised to victory over North Suburban Conference foe Mundelein in opening round regional action at Libertyville.
Rolling Meadows 61, Wauconda 44: The 15th-seeded Mustangs advanced in regional play-in action at Prospect against the 19th-seeded Bulldogs.
New Trier 47, Lakes 35: At Zion-Benton, 12th-seeded New Trier got 21 points from Andrew Kirkpatrick in a victory over the 21st-seeded Eagles.
Kyle Rohr led Lakes with 11 points.
Highland Park 76, Taft 51: Also at Zion-Benton, Highland Park got 15 points from Jack Zeidler in the win.
Lake Forest 59, Mather 52: At Maine West, Lake Forest out-lasted Mather.

Vernon Hills 79, Kelvyn Park 45: The 14th-seeded Cougars rolled to a first-round victory in regional play at Chicago Payton. Next up for Vernon Hills is a 6 p.m. Tuesday matchup against St. Viator.
Antioch 77, Noble Street Charter 39: The 12th-seeded Sequoits had no trouble with their first-round opponent in a regional opener at Carmel Catholic. Antioch next meets Chicago Alcott in a 7 p.m. Wednesday matchup.
