Benefit run for 100 Club

The Five-0 5K Race will be held Sunday, May 7, at the Independence Grove Forest Preserve, 16400 Buckley Road (Route 137), Libertyville. The event organized by the Lake County Municipal League is open to all ages. Entry fee is $25 and $15 for 6 to 17 year olds. All proceeds benefit The 100 Club of Lake and Cook Counties, which provides for the families of first responders who have died in the line of duty. All race participants will receive a short-sleeved tech T-shirt and finish line goodies. No wheels are allowed on the course. Call (847) 270-3126 or email info@lakecountyleague.org.
