Chicago Cubs postcard: The dawn of a new season

MESA, Ariz. - There is nothing quite like sunrise in the desert. There's also something symbolic about it in February. The sun has risen on another spring training for the Chicago Cubs, as pitchers and catchers reported for duty Tuesday. Position players report later this week, but many already are in camp and working out. The Cubs are hoping this is the dawn of a second straight world-championship season.
