Arlington Heights thrift store offers free clothes for the homeless

Community Threads thrift store in Arlington Heights is giving away free clothing to the homeless from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Each person without residence will receive a 13-gallon bag to fill with clothing currently for sale in the store at 250 W. Rand Road including men's, women's and children's clothing and coats, hats, gloves and scarves. The event is on a first-come, first-served basis.
