Emergency drill planned Friday at Barrington elementary school

The Barrington Police Department and the Barrington Area Unit School District 220 will conduct a full-scale emergency response training exercise at Roslyn Road Elementary School between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m. Friday, the police department announced Monday.

There will be no students at the school, 224 W. Roslyn Road in Barrington, during the training exercise.

The drill will incorporate coordinated responses between multiple police and fire departments. Numerous police and fire vehicles will be in the area, and residents should not be alarmed, police said.
