Summer improvements planned at Stevenson High

The Stevenson High School board will meet Monday night to discuss proposed classroom renovations and other construction projects that could be done this summer.

The meeting is set for 7:30 p.m. at the district office, which is behind the Lincolnshire school.

Improvements to the East Building cafeteria and the performing arts center, as well as sidewalk repairs, are among the projects being considered. The projects are expected to cost about $4.7 million, down from a $5.2 million estimate last fall.
