Tots craft valentines for seniors

Aurora tots brought early Valentine's Day wishes to senior citizens at Presence Fox Knoll living center in Aurora on Friday, Feb. 10.

Aurora residents Mia Schmidt, 4, and mom Holly delivered handmade Valentine posters to residents of the independent and assisted-living center.

In a fifth annual art project, Mia and other third- through fifth-grade children at New England Congregational Church preschool in Aurora crafted posters as a community-service project.

After parading posters to residents during lunch in the dining room, the Schmidts hung the posters on center hallway walls.
