A diverse collection of artwork, including oil and acrylic painting, photography, watercolor painting, sculpture in wood and ceramic, colored pencil and mixed media, is on display at the College of Lake County.
More than 100 Lake County artists are participating in the "Members Exhibition 2017" show in the Robert T. Wright Community Gallery of Art on the Grayslake campus.
The gallery's artist membership program offers opportunities for local artists and supports the art gallery. There is a $30 annual membership fee for each artist that allows them to participate in the annual members exhibition.
The exhibition, which opened Jan. 27 and runs through Feb. 25, is free to the public.
Gallery hours are: Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. For information, call the college's communication arts, humanities and fine arts division at (847) 543-2040.
