Geneva's Whitley reaches 1,000 points

Geneva junior guard Margaret Whitley scored her 1,000th career point in an 86-27 win at Elgin Tuesday night.

Whitley led the Vikings (21-4, 10-1 in the Upstate Eight Conference River Division) with 22 points. Grace Loberg had a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds, and Brittany Caskey made four 3-point baskets while scoring 14 points.
