We're now a nation of frightened people

It was heartening to see the protests over President Trump's order restricting people from Moslem countries entering the U.S.

However, it is a shame that we have got to the point where many others agree with such action. It used to be in this country that we would not allow ourselves to be cowed by a rag-tag group of religious fanatics in the Middle East.

Now, in large part because of the scare-mongering reporting of right-wing TV and radio stations, we seem to have become a nation of frightened people, lead by a frightened Commander-in-Chief. Sad, as that Commander-in-Chief might say.
