Why didn't they pick up my recycling?

Something makes no sense. This is regarding back door garbage pickup for senior citizens.

I have lived in Arlington Heights for more than 50 years. Due to physical conditions and weather conditions in the winter months I decided to call Groot for back door pick up, even though the cost was doubled.

The first week even though I placed two carts out, only the garbage was picked up. The recycle cart was left behind. When I called I was told Groot picks up only garbage at the back door, so just put everything in the one cart. To me this makes no sense.

If this is the way the contract with Groot is written it should be changed to accommodate both the garbage cart and the recyclable cart.
