Gurnee Days Corporation seeks honoree nominations

The Gurnee Days Corporation is seeking nominations for a living individual or couple who has given selfless service to the Gurnee community.

Within the village, there are many fine citizens whose self-sacrifices and other praiseworthy actions may pass unnoticed or unremembered by the general public.

To qualify for the nomination, the person or people must have provided a meaningful contribution to the village of Gurnee community for 10 years or more.

The person or people selected will be honored at a testimonial dinner to be held on Thursday, Aug. 10.

In addition, the individual(s) will serve as Grand Marshall(s) of the Gurnee Days parade on Sunday, Aug. 13.

Nomination forms are available at the Gurnee Village Hall, Gurnee Park District or the Gurnee Days website, gurneedays.com.

Completed forms are due by March 25.
