Bamboo symphony performs Saturday in Arlington Heights
The Beijing Bamboo Symphony will perform Saturday during a festival concert/gala at John Hersey High School.
It's the first time the group, which uses large instruments made of bamboo, has performed in Arlington Heights. The event is presented by the Xilin Association, Chinese Weekend Schools and Chinese Performing Arts Groups.
A 6:30 p.m. exhibition is scheduled followed by the 7 p.m. performance. Tickets are $20. For more information, contact (847) 607-6565 or visit xilin.org.
