Junior Mac Camardo scored a game-high 21 points, which included a 7-for-7 effort at the foul line, to help Buffalo Grove's boys basketball team past host Elk Grove 65-42 on Friday in Mid-Suburban East play.
The Bison (13-8, 5-3) remain 2 games behind division leader Prospect with 2 games left in the East.
Colin Calcagno made four 3s and finished with 16 points, and Zach Fricke had 10 for Buffalo Grove.
Dylan Ingebrigtsen scored 16 points to lead the way for Elk Grove.
Maine West 51, Glenbrook North 48: The host Warriors picked up a key victory in Central Suburban North play.
Proviso East 60, Leyden 47: The visiting Eagles slipped to 4-16 overall and 0-8 in West Suburban Gold play.
