Lake County Art League exhibition opens Friday

A public reception celebrating the opening of the Lake County Art League exhibition will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, at the David Adler Music and Arts Center, 1700 N. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville.

The Lake County Art League is a collective of visual artists that increases appreciation and interest in the arts through demonstrations, critiques, and exhibitions. The free exhibition runs through Feb. 23 and will feature a variety of media, including photography, photo-realistic oil paintings and delicate pencil drawings.

The galleries, part of renowned architect David Adler's country estate, are open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays. Visit www.adlercenter.org for more information.
