Avon petition challenges

Nominating petition challenges filed against some Avon Township candidates in the April election were dropped this week. Officials said scheduled hearings were not needed for clerk candidate Jeanne Kearby and the People Over Politics political slate that includes supervisor candidate Terry Wilke. Such petition challenges can result in candidates being removed from a ballot.
