Batavia grad Knox making most of his playing time at Rochester

Batavia graduate Tucker Knox is getting the best of both worlds at Division III Rochester (N.Y.).

Knox, a junior, is not only a key contributor on the hardwood for Rochester but is doing so on a team that was ranked as high as No. 3 in the country at one point after winning its first 13 contests of the season.

Through midweek, Knox had started all 16 games for the Yellow Jackets and was averaging 7.2 points and 4.3 rebounds a contest. He's also the team leader in blocked shots with 23 and is shooting 71 percent from the free-throw line. Knox had 16 points and 5 rebounds in a game against Ithaca earlier in the year and 15 points and 6 boards in a contest against Elmira. He also had 13 points and 7 rebounds against Union (N.Y.).
