Stonis, Wauconda edge out Antioch

Jarod Stonis had 15 points and 6 rebounds, and Wauconda's boys basketball team eked out a 52-51 win over visiting Antioch in Northern Lake County Conference action Tuesday night.

Wauconda (8-11, 4-4) also got a big effort from Brendan Tulley, who had a season-high11 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocked shots. Jimmy Ott scored 11 points as well for the Bulldogs.

Antioch (6-11, 2-6) received 15 points from Dan Filippone and 12 from Reece Eldridge.

North Chicago 84, Round Lake 52: Zach Kuligoski scored 33 points, including two 3-pointers, for the host Panthers in their Northern Lake County loss.

North Chicago improved to 8-0 in the NLCC. Round Lake fell to 2-16 and 0-8.
