Seth Paine Elementary School Takes A Magic Carpet Ride With Disney's Aladdin Jr.
Come on down, stop on by, hop a carpet and fly ... to Seth Paine Elementary School's performance of Disney's Aladdin Jr. on Friday, February 24 and Saturday, February 25, 2017. Both performances will be held at 7:00pm at the Lake Zurich High School Performing Arts Center (300 Church Street, Lake Zurich). Tickets are $7 in advance and go on sale February 1 at http://sethpaine.seatyourself.biz/. The shows are expected to sell out but a limited number of tickets may be available at the door for $8 each.
Based on the iconic animated film, Aladdin Jr. is sure to send audiences soaring on a flying carpet ride filled with dreams and adventure. When the street urchin, Aladdin (Ajay Ohri), vies for the attention of the beautiful princess, Jasmine (Claire Smith), he uses a genie's magic power to become a prince in order to marry her. Iago (Joey Richards), Jafar (Zach Fewkes), the Genie (Dave Kalesz) and an ensemble cast of townspeople, shop owners, belly dancers and princes will welcome you to Agrabah, City of Enchantment, in this musical adventure filled with magic, mayhem and endless possibilities.
For a sneak peak of the show, enjoy dinner with the cast at Culver's in Lake Zurich (645 North Rand Road, Lake Zurich) on Thursday, February 9 from 5:00-8:00pm. The cast will perform at 5:30pm and Aladdin, Jasmine, and Genie will mingle with guests until 6:30pm.
