Divestiture? Why not in House, Senate?

All the Democrats and the mainstream media are calling for Trump and all his appointments to divest themselves from all their business holdings. Why? Did anyone ask that of George Washington who was the richest president? I'll just offer a suggestion. If we (as a country) want our leaders to divest themselves from their business holdings, then I would like to see all members of the House and Senate do the same thing. They all should put all their investments in blind trusts. It's been far too long that our Congresspeople get rich off of the laws they make.
