District 25 kindergarten preregistration now open for 2017-2018

Preregistration for kindergarten in District 25 for the 2017-2018 school year is now open!

Below is a breakdown of the step by step process one must go through to preregister and eventually register his/her child for District 25's kindergarten program.

Who?

Kindergartners starting in 2017-2018

• Your child must be 5 years old by Sept 1, 2017, to attend kindergarten in the 2017-2018 school year.

• The kindergarten program is held five days a week (a.m. and p.m. half-day sessions) at every district elementary school.

• Need help identifying your local school? Consult the village of Arlington Heights website and enter your address.

• If you have any questions, please contact or visit your school's main office.

New to District 25 (grades one through five) students starting in 2017-2018, please visit www.sd25.org/site/Default.aspx?PageID=1079.

How?

Registration is a four-step process.

Please know that all four steps are required before your child is fully registered with Arlington Heights School District 25.

Step 1: Vsit https://secure.infosnap.com/family/actionforms.aspx and enter requested information.

Step 2: Expect a packet of additional forms to be delivered to your home after completing step one. Complete the forms and collect all requested supporting documentation.

Step 3: Attend the Kindergarten Round Up event at your school on Tuesday, Feb. 7, (see times below), and turn in the completed packet of additional forms along with all requested supporting documentation. If you cannot attend the Round Up event, please contact your school's main office.

Kindergarten Round Up: Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017:

• Dryden Elementary School: 9:30-11:30 a.m., 722 S. Dryden Place, (847) 398-4280

• Greenbrier Elementary School: 9:30-11 a.m., 2330 N. Verde Drive, (847) 398-4272

• Ivy Hill Elementary School: 4-6 p.m. 2211 N. Burke Drive, (847) 398-4275

• Olive-Mary Stitt Elementary School, 4-7:30 p.m., 303 E. Olive St., (847) 398-4282

• Patton Elementary School: 4-6:30 p.m., 1616 N. Patton Ave., (847) 398-4288

• Westgate Elementary School: 9:1-11 a.m., 500 S. Dwyer Ave., (847) 398-4292

• Windsor Elementary School: 4-6 p.m., 1315 E. Miner St., (847) 398-4297

Your Child must be 5 years of age on or before Sept. 1, 2017

Step 4: On May 1, 2017, online registration will go live for all parents registering students for the 2017-2018 school year. During the week of April 24, 2017, you will receive information, via the email address you provided in step one, to complete the registration process.
