Aryana Ziakas, Saint Viator Senior, Commits to St Mary's MN

The Milwaukee Jr Admirals would like to congratulate u19 girls goaltender, Aryana Ziakas (Saint Viator, 17) on her commitment to Saint Mary's University MN to play NCAA D3 hockey in the MIAC, one of the toughest conferences in women's hockey. The parity in the league is palpable and the competition is fierce. When we discussed her commitment, Aryana made two perfect statements " I immediately felt at home when I stepped on campus" and " the academic fit within my major was perfect". That pretty much sums up a couple of the top criteria we ask our athletes to look for through the recruiting journey. Aryana has been stellar in net with several MJA teams. We are thrilled with her growth and accomplishments. SMU is getting a great goaltender, competitive as the day is long, who we anticipate will compete for game changing minutes from the word go. Strong teams are built from the back and we knew someone was going to put themselves in a good position with the pick-up of Ary. Turns out it's Coach Mannor, Coach Moore and the SMU Cardinals.
