Elgin Academy notches 7th win

Michelle Peyton and Renee Scimecas had 11 points each Wednesday night as the Elgin Academy girls basketball team defeated Francis Parker 41-27 in an Independent School League game.

The win was the seventh of the season for the Hilltoppers, their most wins in the last five seasons.

Madeline Sporina added 10 points, 12 rebounds and 6 steals to the win while Kalia Higa had 12 steals.
