Elgin Academy downs Woodlands

Madeline Sporina scored 10 points and had 4 rebounds and 4 steals Monday to lead Elgin Academy's girls basketball team to a 30-23 Independent School League win over Woodlands Academy.

Also contributing to the win for the Hilltoppers were Renee Scimeca (7 points), Kaila Higa (8 steals) and Michelle Peyton (7 points).

Mooseheart 38, Westminster Christian 29: Jaks Kelty had 7 points and Emily Lamp 7 rebounds for Westminster (4-12, 0-7) in this Northeastern Athletic Conference loss.
