30th Annual Arlington Heights prayer breakfast Feb. 2

The 30th Annual Arlington Heights Mayor's Community Prayer Breakfast will be held Feb. 2 with a keynote address from Retired U.S. Army Major General James H. Mukoyama, Jr.

Mukoyama is CEO of Military Outreach USA, a faith-based nonprofit helping veterans cope with the visible and invisible wounds of war.

Other speakers include Mayor Tom Hayes and St. James Parish Pastor Rev. Matt Foley, who will deliver the invocation.

The event features a breakfast buffet, scripture readings and music, and costs $20 to attend. It will be held from 7 to 9 a.m. at the Doubletree Hotel, 75 W. Algonquin Road.
