Lake Zurich touts infrastructure work
Lake Zurich officials say there were significant accomplishments last year regarding infrastructure investment. In reflecting on the major achievements of 2016, officials noted $3 million was invested to improve the structural integrity of Lake Zurich's primary sanitary sewer transmission main, which sends the waste stream to the Lake County sewage treatment facility near Buffalo Grove. Officials also said three miles of road in the Rand Estates, Orchards, Mossley Hill Estates and Jonquil Estates neighborhoods were resurfaced and should have a life span of at least 15 years.
