Arlington Heights Refuse Collection Changes Due to Holidays

Due to the upcoming holidays, collection services will change for single-family residences served by GROOT, the Village of Arlington Heights' service provider.

During the week of December 26, 2016 if your primary collection day is:

Monday (north of Oakton and west of Arlington Heights Road) garbage, recycling, and yardwaste will be collected on Tuesday, December 27th (for those with twice a week refuse collection, garbage only will be picked up on Friday, December 30th)

Tuesday (south of Oakton and west of Arlington Heights Road) garbage, recycling, and yardwaste will be collected on Wednesday, December 28th (for those with twice a week refuse collection, garbage only will be picked up on Saturday, December 31st)

Thursday (north of Oakton and east of Arlington Heights Road) garbage, recycling, and yardwaste will be collected on Friday, December 30th (for those with twice a week refuse collection, garbage only will be picked up on Tuesday, December 27th)

Friday (south of Oakton and east of Arlington Heights Road) garbage, recycling, and yardwaste will be collected on Saturday, December 31st (for those with twice a week refuse collection, garbage only will be picked up on Wednesday, December 28th)

During the week of January 2, 2017 if your primary day is:

Monday (north of Oakton and west of Arlington Heights Road) garbage, recycling, and yardwaste will be collected on Tuesday, January 3rd (for those with twice a week refuse collection, garbage only will be picked up on Friday, January 6th)"

Tuesday (south of Oakton and west of Arlington Heights Road) garbage, recycling, and yardwaste will be collected on Wednesday, January 4th (for those with twice a week refuse collection, garbage only will be picked up on Saturday, January 7th)

Thursday (north of Oakton and east of Arlington Heights Road) garbage, recycling, and yardwaste will be collected on Friday, January 6th (for those with twice a week refuse collection, garbage only will be picked up on Tuesday, January 3rd)

Friday (south of Oakton and east of Arlington Heights Road) garbage, recycling, and yardwaste will be collected on Saturday, January 7th (for those with twice a week refuse collection, garbage only will be picked up on Wednesday, January 4th)

Christmas trees can be placed at the curb for pick-up on your primary collection day from January 3rd through January 14th. Christmas trees do not require a landscape waste sticker.
